Default Where did you ride your Softail today?

Today I wandered off the two lane State Highways that I normally ride here in Middle TN and got lost big time. Not the first time this has happened and probably won't be the last. When I get into this situation I normally use the GPS on my phone to find my way out...no signal with Verizon here oops.
Anyway, I found some really cool backroads with great scenery, hills and kiss your butt curves. Had to ride smart though, didn't know the roads and they are super narrow.
Thought I would start a thread where we could share stories and pics of our rides.
I only took two pics, the first shows some hills of the Cumberland Plateau off in the distance, I took the pic from the top of another set of hills. Second pic shows how secluded the roads are, pic was taken at straight up noon and the road is shaded 😂. Post some pics of your ride!

I didn't take any pics but rode 210 miles today. Left the house in Seymour, TN and traveled backroads to Wears Valley and then the back way to the other side of Pigeon Forge. Went through the Spur and the Gatlinburg bypass and headed over the mountain. I hit the Blue Ridge Parkway for a ways and through Maggie Valley, Hwy 209 The Rattler (awesome road but watch for gravel), Hot Springs, Newport, Dandridge, Sevierville and back home.

I rode around 250 miles and was a bit west of you....Crossville, Pikeville and Sparta I have to watch for gravel too. Washouts from the roadsides, driveways and gravel roads that are connected to the paved roads. Bet you had some great scenery, snap a pic or two next ride.

We rolled around the back roads yesterday in NE Ga. Lots of great scenery and smells thru the farm lands here. Breaking the new motor in on the Bad Boy so lots of on and off the throttle all day. Lost as could be most of the day on never taken roads. What I've tried to do most of my time on 2 wheels.

I rode into town today to help some Combat Vet friends of mine sort through some donations that would be given out to needy people, then shot the bull with them and came home.
