This was helpful to me

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...tem-again.html

I'm not sure if Love Jugs are aimed to blow through the passage on the heads, but blowing air through there seems like it would be the most effective way to bring temp down.

I have them on my 103ci, but don't seem to need them on my 88ci...

I use Wardspartswerks FCS fans from Jason.

They work, customer service is excellent, and they almost unnoticeable on the bike.

Those versions of the love jugs you posted aren't too bad... their earlier versions were just too in-your-face ugly for me......

I've been looking at that same set up. Hattitude has got me second guessing myself now sense I was going to use them on an 88ci

My '03 Heritage has a big bore kit 95 ci, with SE203 cams. I'm sure it could use the fans... they can't hurt.... but my Heritage just doesn't create the heat my Limited with a 103 Stage II does.....

I've thought about putting them on my Heritage, just haven't felt the need. I'm sure if I get caught in summer stop & go traffic, I'll get another set for the Heritage!

I would say don't waste your money. I got the "new" and improved version for my 2016 Slim S and I didn't notice any appreciable difference in the heat. Not worth the $399 I paid for it.

A proper tune and clean oil keeps my 124" temperatures low.

Iis all good until you get stuck in traffic and have to idle the bike for too long. Those fan can really save the day then.
