Default plugs go bad after jet work

Hey guys, Ive been playing around with the jets in the 95 softail. I gained alot of knowledge from the forum and was able to jet my bike for a thunderheader and hypercharger. Well, now I was looking at mileage and tried changing out jets.
Im finding that everytime I change them out...the bikes plugs get funny. I had the carb apart so many times and didnt realize it was the plugs.
Ive tried the Drag Specialities and one set of HD. As soon as I put a fresh set in after re jet, the bike reacts normal. If the old set stays Ill get a bad plug....
would a plug blow after one lean pop? Maybe the coil?

Try NGK.

What jets are you using now?
Head work?
Cam?

yeah, maybe the Drag Specialities are not so great. No head work or cam work.
I dropped down to test a 44, but its way too lean. got the 45 in fired it and it jumped and jived. plug again. I change out both, but I need to figure out if its only one side going bad.
new plugs and its running, but I havent dialed in the jet. just happy to have it run this evening.

All I can say is that you have some of the best performance exhaust available, but the worst air cleaner available .The hyper charger is restricting air flow,or you need to very carefully adjust your float level in the carb.
Or,borrow a good a/c from somebody and try it.

Can you post a closeup photo of one of the plugs that went bad?

Lol, I hear that alot about the hypercharger...SO, I picked up a Super E. I can relearn some carb work, but am very excited about the upgrade. I guess I had to go the newbie route and learn on my own...drag pipes and hypercharger LOOKED cool. performed....ugh!
thunderheader, and now super E.

Warp, the bad plugs are really full of carbon, I knew I was running rich. I guess I get to start all over with the E carb.
Anyone have problems with the Drag Speciality plugs? I picked up a few sets of the NGK
