Default ABS - Softail Deluxe

ABS - Softail Deluxe: Thought I'd share for those DIY folks. ABS brake lines on my Deluxe have a small junction that bolts up around the bottom of the neck. I'm checking torque values on various items when I run across it, didn't need torqued but looked funky so I removed the bolt and cleaned it up. To my surprise after inspecting the bolt and seeing the corrosion on the smooth portion of the bolt I realized something, that smooth part needs a lube. The brake line J block is designed to have a little movement.
Little loctite on the threads, little lithium on the smooth part, and good to go.

When I was in Florida it was a constant challenge to keep the rust away. Did you see this?
