Maybe more important than helmet with youngsters. AD&D insurance. That said, I wear a full face 80% of the time. Short hops or winter (less bugs) may use the 3/4. Otherwise I like the security of the 4/4.

I don't give a flying f what others think. My most important image is as Dad. Anyone who wants to undermine that will get a tornado kick followed by a hammer fist.

 

I wear a fullface when it's needed due to weather. I wear a no mushroom lid from http://www.bikerhelmets.com when the law requires it, or the mood strikes me.

 

I've always worn one, and I've only had Harleys. I don't enjoy the taste of bugs. Don't enjoy road debris hitting my face, I can still see in the rain, and I can keep my face looking the same should I go down. F**k what the haters say about it, it's your dome brother.

Wore a helmet when on a sport bike but not on a H-D! Just were does that rule come from? I must not have gotten the memo.

I have 22 H-D's and read each manual. Nowhere did they say don't wear a helmet.

 

I wear my Arai XD all the time. Good vision, ventilation, more room than standard full face helmets. I don't ride without it.

 

No full face for me....I wear a 3/4 helmet but I'm not riding during winter. In early spring or fall I could sometimes use a full face, especially when riding the early morning hours.

 

Modular FF or 3/4.

I appreciate the replies guys. I will tell you. I was awful glad to have lastnight on the way home since every bug in 2 county's decided to dive bomb me like a Japanese zero. It took me 10 minutes to get all the bugs off of it once home.

 

I wear one on the interstate or cold weather. bouncing around town i usually wear nothing. who cares what other people think man, your head your bike. Wear what makes you comfortable.

 

Modular FF in cool weather, and Bell pitboss rest of the time.
