Default Softail Floorboards

I am looking to build my own floorboards for my 2002 softail standard. I am looking for help from anyone who has done this, has a fatboy with floor boards still installed, or just generally helpful.

If you can send me some pictures and measurements of how everything looks. How long by wide and thickness. Are you able to fold them all the way up or did you make the bar unrounded so it cannot fold?

Yes I know I can buy them from HD or JP, but I find more pleasure in building my own. Any help is appreciated, even if it is to just go have a beer.

Just be sure they are foldable to some degree. You'll know why the first time you scrape them.

Very true hspring03. I do need to keep that in mind, while not letting it fold too much to come up and scrape my chrome. Thank you
