First batch of powder back from the coater. Went with a semi gloss blk vrs gloss blk cause I'm just not that fancy of a guy and either is my bike. But the wheels will be gloss blk along with my bars when I make them and my trees. Oval oil bag
Too and side trans covers
Cam cover
Air cleaner backing plate and filter cover
Starter solenoid cover

Dropped of my upper and lower rocker boxes along with the derby and inspection cover.

Had a little issue tightening the cam cover, my torture wrench decided it didn't want to work.

Luckily it didn't break off flush and I was able to walk it out with some vice grips.

Got the oil bag mounted with very little modification to the front bracket, just had to stretch the hole out some. Got the oil line adapters and oil lines ran. Got to pick up a diff fitting for the return line to route it correctly.Winter maintenance and mods-photo930.jpgWinter maintenance and mods-photo388.jpgWinter maintenance and mods-photo363.jpg

Picked up my last fitting for oil bag today and just waiting on the earlier style oil cap. Here are some pics of the fittings and tubing used. Winter maintenance and mods-photo330.jpg

1st set of homemade broomstick bars with a 2" rise and 27.5" end to end. Obviously not complete, got some cleaning up to do in them for fitment before I weld them out. Go run with them and see how they feel.

Still waiting on parts to come in and I'm still pondering on converting over to chain drive. I think I'm gonna stop by zippers in the way home from work tomorrow and pick up there kit.

But since I've had some down time, I finally got my weld machine set up and made a weld table.

Also going over the whole removal of the neck gusset thing in my head. If I do I'm gonna get something machined to replace it, so my mind is rested on it being safe. Just with this new tank opening up the top of the motor so much the stock gusset is hideous lol.

Just got the burst se air cleaner installed I the breakout. Looks slick but it's way bigger than I realized. If this awesome weather holds up to next weekend I'll have a better idea if I'm keeping it.
