Had Harleys kit on my 2011 Heritage with locks keyed to match. It does not use lower plastic , just lid and a heavy frame in the opening. Lock worked real nice. I still see the bike now and then and the bags look like new.

same here as above, I've had PaPa bag supports for 8 yrs and bags have retained their shape as new...
