Default Polished aluminum

Try to keep bike clean but i do leave the country for months at a time sometimes.

Engine cases do discolor and corrode a bit. Most polishes i use will shine up the cases but none of them really get rid of stains or rain drops.

I am trying Never Dull its almost good enough but not quite.

Engine covers are kind of easy but getting in around the rocker arms is definitely tedious.

Is there a polish or possibly rubbing compound that people are using?

thanks

Mother's Mag Polish
to gett real stubborn spots, I use a 0.00 grit steel wool pad. Scotch brite not as good, but works. Follow with a cotton or some type of cloth material for buffing.

Did a tank lift way back for esthetics purpose only and thus also added more room for me to polish and clean rocker covers with out issues

SIMICHROME is an "old school" brand that works quite well ... As far as tough spots, using a superfine sandpaper ( 2000 grit ) followed by a bit of polish will do the trick in most instances

If you're talking about the polished edges of the cooling fins, have a look at this. There's a PDF toward the bottom. The 3M polish I used is a restorer and polish. Great stuff and should work well on the cases too.

Definitely Mother's Chrome Polish. Been using it for years. Nothing comes close. For hard to reach areas, I use a dog toothbrush (extra long handle) I got at the pet store.

This is the best stuff for polishing aluminum that I have found. Goes on easy, comes off easy and goes a long way. Check it out: http://www.gordsaluminumpolish.com

I use Mothers mag polish and a Mothers Powerball to polish the wheels on my Fat Boy.
