Default Problem installing Samson Cholos on Softail

I've got an 01 Heritage and just got the 39" cholos, I got the head pipes installed just fine, as well as the bracket, when I go to "slip on" the muffler part of the pipes, it's soooooooooo tight and simply will not seat home onto the head pipes, not on either side of the bike. It's about an inch away from lining up with the bolt holes on the bracket and the mount on the pipe, meaning it still needs to slide into the head pipe another inch and it WILL NOT budge. Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes???

You need to lube it up before slamming it home. Try giving it a wiggle to loosen the pipe up

Yep, I had to WD40 the suckers to get them to seat all the way in.

I've used some light oil as well. They will fit but sometimes they make you work for it.
