Default Power Commander maps...

04' duece with a K&N 3909 Filter kit. Thinking of purchasing the PCIII. Looking at their map database, most maps refer using the SE air filter. would I really need a specific map for the K&N?

Also, where is the best site for purchasing the SERT?

Default RE: Power Commander maps...

Nope....a high performance air filter is a high performance air filter. Just use the map that says SE filter or any other high performance filter. Same goes for pipes...you don't have to try to find the map with the exact brand and model of pipes. You have to look at the type of pipes you have and the length of the pipe.

So if you have a 2 into 1 pipe try to find a map with another 2 into 1 pipe. If you have a 2 into 2 Pipe like V&H longshots look for a 2 into 2 pipe about the same length.

No two bikes are alike so it may take a few maps before you find one that works.
