Default Finally got my Easy bracket bags mounted pics

I modified the Easy Brackets so they would mount my rigid mount Fatboy saddlebags.
Heres a pic of the backside of the modded Easy Bracket. I welded an extension so as to utilize the rear of the tubular bag frame mount:

Heres a pic of the underside of the bag you can see the rigid bag tubular frame. The 3/8 bolt is simply a standoff to help keep the bag from drooping and stressing the bracket.

Heres a pic of the top of the bag you can see the cool cylinder type lock mechanism:

And heres the Easy Bracket post standoffs as they mount to the fender struts (I have the kit that works with my detatchable backrest:

And heres the pic of it all together. They look great. I did end up having to move the bags foreward .625" from there original location:

I'm glad I spent some time on this mod, as the factory rigid Fatboy bags are a real nice quality rigid bag. (And they came on the bike when I bought it ! )

Looks good, and I know youappreciate the ease of mounting and removing the bagsso quickly now. I did something similiar to a pair of easy brackets to get them to work on my bike. Periodically check the welds. My bags are smaller than yours and the extensions I made were shorter. I had one crack after a couple weeks and had to take care of it - noticed it starting to spread. BTW, it wasn't one of my welds, it was one of the factory EASY BRACKET welds. Not a big deal, just thought I'd mention it. Looks good though, nice job.

Thanks guys. I really like the design of the easy brackets. I have all the benifits of a hard bag that looks like a traditional soft bag, and one that mounts anddismounts in seconds!
