Default Exhaust Leak Question...

I have been e-mailing V&H about popping on decel ever since I installed their FuelPak. They told me to make sure the exhaust is not leaking. I took it back to the shop who installed and they said they checked for leaks but I don't trust them. After all the didn't even have the right codes in the FuelPak. You just can't trust any of these so called shops...

Any way if I wanted to check for leaks on my exhaust how would I go about it?

With a clean rag and a little household cleaner like fantastic.......Wipe all your exhaust connections till there very clean. Then go for a thirty minute ride. Let the pipes cool. Then using a clean dry "WHITE" rag, Wipe your connections again............Any spot that leaves your white rag black is a leak

Take that same rag, dampen it and wrap (several wraps)it around a block of wood that's big enough to cover the exhaust exit. With the bike running, block the exhaust with the rag/wood. Leaks should be easily detectable and will probably sound like hissing or ticking.

That is unless you have a crossover pipe or retained the original crossover.

All you have to do is change mode 23 from 16 to 50. I get a little popping but most is gone. I hold the clutch in if it really annoys me. Adam at tech support told me to change it and it helped big time.
