Just got my 2006 Night Train and love it. I am in the middle of all my mods and am wanting to do some extended foot controls. I do not need to drop a lot of coin buying a bullit forward control set up, I'd be happy with extending my stock parts and adding some pegs or something. The problem I am running into is all I can find from HD, Ness, Custom Chrome, Drag Specialties ect are 3" plates for the 2000 up softails. Does anyone make a 2" plate for 2006 Night Train? Does anyone have the 3"? Are they quite a reach? I am 5'10" with about a 30" inseam. I am sure I can reach a 3" set but would nto allow me to kick my feet out to relax. I'd be stuck in one position for long hauls. HELP.

I didn't want to go 3 inches either. I found 2 in extendedbrackets from a place called Cycle Visions. They cost me about 100 bucks and another 120 for the extended brake line. You can go on there website and get a number for them. They also let you order over the phone and if an item cost more than 100 bucks it's free shipping. For the brake line I had to go to my local bike cycle shop and order it. I am 5' 11" and I got the 3" Arlen Ness extension. I personally wish it was another inch or two. I have a LaPera solo seat and when it is just me I can stretch out but with a badlander seat I need the pegs a little farther forward. I guess it kinda depends on the seat you have also.
