Default New C&C Seat

I just installed my new Lo Pro Solo Seat by C&C. Great seat, very comfortable. I couldn't be happier. Company is easy to work with and I recieved my seat in only 1 week.

Looks very good. Cpl questions? I have a Lepera bare bones w/geland it sucks. Is this C&C seat comfy for time in saddle? I'm 6' and 230, big azz. On me big ed and the twins go to sleep on the Lepera cuz it is very hard, no give to it, hard on tailbone also. Thanks

Both of mineare very comfortable for shorter trips, but I wouldn't recommend them for long journeys. We took a trip to Bishop (~270 miles) a couple of months ago and it was a bit much for both the wife and myself. Of course, my buddy and his wife were worse off on his '04 Fat Boy with stock seat - in fact they determined when we stopped.

I haven't gone on a long trip yet. Around town, it does feel much better than the stock seat. You can order a C&C with gel that might make it more comfortable. I am thinking about getting the C&C sport tour for long trips with the wife. Anybody have any input on that seat for long durations?

From our experience, the Sport Tour is not a good candidate for long trips. It is great for shorter trips riding two-up though.

I still need to decide what to get for long trips myself.

The C&C web site says the Solo sits about 1" lower? is this true? I'm interested if it's still compfortable.

Also, do you know about the pillion? It says it's not suitable for riders?!?!? WTF? Any thoughts?

About 5 hours is all I can handle on my Sport Tour, maybe 4 riding 2 up. I did know that when I bought it. I have a Sundowner for long trips. Dont like the look, but it is comfortable.
