Since the wife got her FLSTN I am taking over the Heritage and I am wanting to put 10-12" apes on it. Any suggestions on which ones to get? My dads fatboy had apes on it but they looked to narrow for the bike.

Thanks Texas Fat Boy, they are 12.5" and 1 1/4" diameter. They are Buffalo Bars from Drag Specialties, got'em for $98.00 from www.zanottimotor.com. I am 6' tall and fairly broad shouldered and the width is very comfortable to me.

Badx, I just put Wild 1's 502 on my 07 Heritage. It was a big job... I started last Sunday and got it done yesterday.... (yes, I only worked on it here and there)...

I luv em. They are wide... fit me at shoulder height. I am 6'1". I changed my cables out to the chromies and ran the wiring up the bars. You have to buy an extention kit for the wiring and the cables I believe for mine were +4 over. The 502's are 12.5.

I think the Heritage looks terrific with the apes on... they are nice and beefy.

 

I put 16's on mine. They are 39" wide and are very comfortable too.

Mine are 13" flanders from drag specialties,they are perfect for me and the bike.
