Default low beam not working

Anyonecome across thisyet ?
low beam on my deuce went out . high beam fine easy fix you would think so I pulled the headlight , replaced bulb and still no low beam , installed another bulb still no light . no power at plug . that's where I stopped for the night. possible switch but I thought I would run it by the forum before I go and pull the switch apart thanks in advance for your thoughts

If you have the service manual and a volt meter I would first use thewiring diagran in the back to try backtracking the wires to see where the voltage is getting lost before you start pulling the switch apart.
You might find its just a loose connector under the tank. Its not likely to be the fuse as I believe there is only one fuse for the light and it provides power for both high and low beams.

A friend of mine with a 07 fatboy had the same problem from day one. The dealer said they have seen a few with the same issue. It was a fairly quick fix but the did'nt go into details. Harley was screwing someting up at the factory.

Problem is that his bike is an 03, any problems they may behaving with making the07 or 08's is unlikely to affect his bike.
