Joker mirror adapter needed ???

Joker mirror adapter needed ???
Can someone please tell me why I need
this adapter to mount the joker mirrors? Is it because the screw size is too small or too large? Could it just be machined down or sleeved up?? Thanks.

Many of the after market mirrors need this adapter,, it so the stem clears the front master cyl.Take your Joker mirror and try to mount it I think you will see why.

I don't actually have the mirror just yet. So do I need the adapter for the Left hand side?

No just the right side, (the left is good) it's used to clear the front master cyl, the adapter is a nice chrome it does look good.
