All softail 6 speed tranny ownersplease vote....!!!!
If there was a an IDS system available for your softail (as there is for the touring models) would you be willing to purchase one??

Before you answer "NO... HD should give me one!!!" I agree, but thats not gonna happen.....

IDS is a rubber cushion on the rear pulley. It absorbs
shocks and surges to make bike feel smoother. Not
available for any model except touring

 

My 08 seems very smooth to me so no need for it. I almost didn't buy it do to the Tranny hype. I do not regret the purchase at all.

 

I posted this because there seemed to be alot of people posting on the touring section of how it fixed the 5th gear clatter.....
There were several posts asking why they dont have one for the softails....

 

No issues with my '08... Maybe its only for touring bikes as they are so much heavier.

 

Yes I would buy one. Will turn the bike into something worth owning. As it is it's a POS.
