I assume you to mean you're having a high-flow air intake installed and a new map downloaded to your EFI controller?
Are you swapping pipes as well or keeping the slip-ons?
If the pipes remain the same the sound will remain the same.
You may notice the motor spins a little more freely and the bike should feel like it pulls stronger in just about every gear and in every circumstance.
It's all seat of the pants and the difference may be subtle. If you've ridden the bike for some miles and you have a good feel for the performance, the difference should be noticable and you'll probably notice and appreciate it more with some miles. But, it's not going to be a major difference like it would be with some more serious performance work done to the motor.
If I've assumed the wrong work from the beginning of this post, nevermind.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Thanks Randy for your reply! Yes you are correct in saying I am getting the high flow AC, and a remapp. I am leaving the SE pipes on for now. I got my FXST back in Feb,. and have over 4300 mile on it now. I think I should see a difference in the preformance of the bike. Can't wait to pick it up tonight.
