03 heritage wants to stall on down shift and speedo is erratic and odometer not working. bike starts and idles and goes down the road but don't try to downshift. help?

 

Remove the speed sensor on top of the tranny and clean it. Replace it and see it's fixedThe speed sensor will probably need replaced though. $ 57.00 for the part. You can do it yourself. Plug in and 1 allen head bolt.
