Hey all, I made a video camera mount for my night train out of PVC pipe and hose clams, it cost me like 4 bucks and it works preet well. I mounted it on my risers. anyway, I thought I would share. The link below takes you to my you tube account.

Well I went to you tube but all I found was your Japan trip but no picks about the making of the camera mount,great video by the way,how did you manage to not have any vibrations while moving?

That video was too bigI had to make it smaller here is the new link. Its not as crazy as it seems, this is Japan everyone on a bike splits lanes and cuts up the side... the traffic is unbearable and the people in vehicles know this and make way for riders. Some of the safest riding in the world overhere believe it or not.

I made the mount ot of a piece of PVC pipe, a few hose clamps, a nut, a bolt(the fits the tripod hole in the bottom of the camera) The results are pretty good my camera is a cheap on too....

Cool vid, man. Drive on the left side, huh? Didn't know that...never been stationed there. Do they have a noise restriction on exhaust like they do over here in Germany?

 

yea but is only enforced when you go through inspection, every two years so, I just swap back to the stock for a day, do the inspection and put the aftermarket ones back on...

thanks for the great vid...and the trip down Memory Lane. seeing the international traffic signs brings back memories of my 11 years stationed overseas (2 inAsia, 9 in Europe), a very long time ago (i retired in '89).
