I want your opinion
Hi. I'm new here and posted a message in the new members' section. But, I want the opinion of my fellow softail owners and especially, Night Train owners.
I'm getting rid of my Big Radius pipes for multiple reasons:
A) They blow dirt all over my bike. That ticks me off after I spend hours cleaning it.
B) I think they are too much chrome for my bike.
C) I leaned hard into a turn the other day and dragged the tip of the lower pipe.
D) Everyone on the planet has them (or the similar style)
I'm set on Bassani Pro Streets. Strongly leaning toward the black turn-outs. Now, I need some help deciding. Which do you think would look best. Keep in mind, over the winter I'm adding black inverted front forks and either the HD "Blade" or the Performance Machine "Torque" wheels.
Which do you think would look best?
1) Black Pro Street turnouts
2) Black Pro Street slash cuts
3) Chrome Pro Streets with black header wrap down to the mufflers (can't have the blue)

Generally speaking I think Trains look better with slash cutbut that is only my personal preference. Post some pics of these pipes, I'd like to see exactly what you're wanting to put on there. I like the Radius pipes but I agree with your reasoning, especially point D.

Take a look at Vance & Hines new black series. I am using Rowlad Sands 2 into 1 Trackers on my Night Train. Will be installing shortly (maybe this weekend) will post pics.

Whilst I agree that every man and his dog has them, that doesn't make them look any less cool.... as for scraping the tip... it pissed me off the first time but now I know I ain't ridin' hard enough if I don't get a spark 'round a right hander 
Where they scrape, you can't notice unless you are looking for it anyway.
