V&H True Duals Loss of Low End Torque ?
Looking into buying some V&H true duals for my deluxe. I am running the SE double barrels now with VH quiet cores. They produce some decent power with good low end torque.I called V&H today and they indicated I would loose low end torque with the true duals. Top end may be slightly better. My SE pipes (same as the Q series) has a larger power chamber compared to V&H other pipes. which they say works a little like a 2 into 1
Question: You guys running the V&H true duals on a stock motor. How much low end did you loose. Is it real noticable compared to your other pipes ? I do not want to change if I loose alot of low end. Would some OEM springer duals perform better
Thanks

RE: V&H True Duals Loss of Low End Torque ?
what ever the loss if any its not a big deal. what ever loss on one end if any, there will be a gain on the other. there seems to be a fair amount of deluxe's around running the V&H true duels or the samson this is an indication that what ever happens its acceptable. I say if you like the look go for it. I noticed no change at all in my performance when I installed the V&H true duels with fishtails on my ride. I was hearing that with a built motor i would loose 15 hp or something like that i say absolutely not.

I have the V&H Duals and can honestly say that I never noticed any loss of power. Admittedly, I only rode the the factorypipes for a few hundred miles, and my comparison was more with my'05 Deuce 95 incher that I traded in. Except for the heat, I'll take the new motor any day. I bet if V&H hadn't mentionedit, you wouldn't notice....
