Thanks for the info. Kind of like the left handle bar grip. Had to use a razor to that also.

Mine was a Royal Pain. I think they used JB weld on it But I ended up cutting the rubber off with a razorknife, then took a big pair of Vice-grips and it finally came loose.

MoCo uses loctite on the shifter pedal. The easiest way to get it off is to use a benzomatic torch, and heat up the tapped end where it connects to the shifter bar. Be careful not to burn the stock shifter pedal rubber, just in case you want to reuse it, or put back on the bike for resale. After a couple of seconds of heating, just use a regular pair of pliers and the shifter peg will twist right off without damage. A paint heatgun doesn't generate enough heat to soften the loctite.

I with this guy, both of mine came off pretty easy and I used some Vise Grips.
Didn't even bother the rubber much.
