Default Heritage Classic Dealer Invoice Price?

I am wanting to buy a 2006 Heritage Classic fuel injected bike with all the options. Does anyone know the dealer invoice price? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I did a search awhile back on invoice prices. Came up with a couple results, but they all cost money for the answer, so I didn't go any further.

I'm not sure it would do you any good to even know the invoice price, other than to satisfy your curiosity. Most reputabale dealers will sell at MSRP, some will come down a little off MSRP.

Its not like cars where dealers are willing to sell at invoice because they know you'll go elsewhere...HD dealers just wave and say See ya'..

I paid the price to get the invoice data in June 2005. The dealer paid $14,xxx for the Heirtage Softail Classic that had a suggested
retail of $18,xxx.

I visited four dealers in Southern California and the best I could do was MSRP. Had other dealers I could've tried but figured I'd only save a couple of bucks so why not buy close to home.

I'm not sure about Harley/Dealer relationships, but the dealer invoice price on a car has almost no meaning because there are always special dealer incentive programs going on that don't show on the invoice but do have a strong impact on what the dealer pays for the automobile. You may have a dealer show you the invoice and pay him a small percentage over that number, and he will smile all the way to the bank because he just got a 3% holdback and a 2% extra sales incentive and neither of those show on the invoice. Plus he got an advertising allowance and heaven only knows what else.
