Default '02 Fatboy project - black front forks... help.

New rider / forum member here, just picked up an '02 Fatboy - just in time to do a little tweakin' over the winter. Debating on swaping the front end forks, triple tree,etc. from chrome to black, really like that look!! Looking for suggestions on how hard this is to accomplish, where best to get the stuff (HD parts or other?), and anyone who's done this - what'd ya think?

There's a guy hanging around here who does powdercoating.
Supposed to do a good job for a reasonable price.
I suggest you use the search feature to do a search for powdercoating and see if you can find him and notes on his work.

I'm with powdercoater on this. Black it out!

I took my stuff off and gave it to a local guy. But I'm sure podercoater will hook you up.

Hell they have ao many colors for powder coating now why just settle for black. Good luck!!!
