BATTERY TENDER
I must use a battery tender for the winter. Do I leave it on the battery all the time --3 months

Yes, as long as its not just a trickle charger. Those will fry your battery.

I have a Tender also and I bought it anduse it for my bike. Not to steal the thread, but canI use it on my car battery also?

If your bike is holed up for three months leave it on. It will cycle on and off as needed to keep the battery charged. Good product.

If you're using the brand "Battery Tender", then just plug it in and let it do it's thing.
I've used the same one now for 5 years and it does a fine job.

Did you guys all put that lead off the battery that comes wth the charger so you do not have to remove the seat ? I have the tender plus. nice unit .
