Ok...hopefully this works this time. My 05 Springer Classic...shotgun shocks, lots of accessories, just installed these 16" Wild1 Chubbies on Saturday...absolutely love them!

Just bought a pair of PYO Monkey Bars only got 14". Thinking I went to short. Will post a pic as soon as I install.

 

Thanks HD! Got a lot of inspiration from this thread...everytime I think i'm done with my bike I find more inspration! ha!

 

For anyone else who has put new apes on...I had to relocate the turn signals. problem is, the existing bracktes that were mounting them to the hand controls are not symetrical so when I mounted them down low they won't line up correctly. I mounted them on the bottom bolt for the whildshield mount which i'm obviously not using anymore. Does anybody know if there is aftermarket mounting kits with symetrical brackets so I can line that up correctly? Also, since I took those turn signals down low the mirrors won't fit anymore...need some kind of spacer, was wondering if anybody knew of some kits for that also.

How tall are you Big Giant? I'm 5"10 and got the 16's and love them...super comfortable and put my hands just above my shoulders...they get a little tingly but that's just something I think i'll get used to...I also like the handling a lot better!

 

Just got 16" Chubby's for my Deluxe and will have them on by the end of the weekend. Intially, they look smaller than I imagined. Will post the reults.
