Well put on some re-chromed stock 08 wheels with rotors and chromed pulley today. Took them off this morning and dropped them off at the dealer and they did them pretty quick and had it back together by dinner time. This was to compliment the front end I did a few weeks ago along with some other chrome goodies.. The chrome on the wheels is excellent!! It really makes the bike. Here are some garage photo's. Forgive the quality, I'll get it outside asap and get some real photo's.

Funny story as I was wheeling them out a guy was dropping his bike off and loved the wheels so much I think now he is shopping for the same wheels.

That is truly a fresh pic...the allen wrench is still lying by the front wheel after you put the axle covers back on.

Did you have the stock ones chromed or did you buy them already chromed?

Just a suggestion, but a Chrome Lower Belt Guard would really set it all off. I got one, pretty cheap; I think it was like $60 at Zanotti's with the 20%.

Wheels look Awesome.

 

Who chromed them? I'mplanningon sending my black 6 spoke slotted's off to get chromedwithin the next 4-6 weeks.

Impress Plating on e-bay did the chrome. I bid on a set of 07's then found out that the 08's where different for the front. So they got a new set of 08's and chromed them for me. I'm sending mine back for them to chrome. The exchange program is nice, they give you 30 days to get them back to them once they are shipped. These guys where very good to work with.

You should see some 07's and 08's on there site soon. It takes about two weeks or so for them to do the chrome process once they have the wheels. You could send them yours if you want to.

Yea a chrome lower guuard would set off the rear.. Coming soon.
