Default Train owners

Ok guys I have had the voices in my head telling me to "buy a Night train, buy a night train, buy a night train". I'm sure you have all been there. I remember looking at them when I bought my Wide Glide and they were just too short legged for me. I am a gnats eye lash under 6'3" with a 36 inch inseam. I wonder has anyone had to put extensions on the forwards, and if so, how do the look and feel ? Do they look junky on the bike, and are the comfortable ?

Hi Jay, Go sit on a NT, you will find that the bars pull you to the front of the bike pushing your **** further back. You might well be ok with it like this and if not then the 2 inch extensions look real cool with the raked out look of the bike. But hay if you like it buy it.[8D]Also if you fit a solo seat this can put your **** back even further as some custom seats are thinner.Merry Xmas Eric

I used a LePera Silhouette seat and it pushed me back about 1-2 inches.Uncomfortable after about 75 miles though

I have the Ness 3" extensions on my Train and they are solid, look good and they are comfortable. I'm not as tall as you but I have stirrups on the pegs as well and this allows me to move my feet around quite a bit on long rides. The NT is the most distinctive HD IMHO.
