Default What's it worth?

Looking for some pricing input…

I am interested in this bike, and yes I know that value is in the eye of the beholder, and that in some cases pricing is a personal thing.

However I am interested in some input on what you would think a fair price for this bike would be in general… All work was performed by the dealer, and they will stand behind their work.

$14,500. There is a sag in the HD market right now. I saw a 2001 Night Train in the paper for $8,000 last week. I'd say the 05 Duece is worth about $12K and then add $2,500 for the sweet parts.

Kelley Blue Book says trade-in value is $10380, without the extra goodies. But that looks like a dealer showroom, so I'm gonna guess they're asking $15900, maybe more. KBB says retail on a stock '05 Deuce is $14860. Add in the extra goodies for at least another $1k and maybe $2k and you've got a "showroom floor" price of mid-$16k.

Of course it depends on where in the country you are. As discussed in numerous threads the MSRP prices will vary up to $2k depending where you are. A friend just bought an '06 Deuce with about the value in extra equipment (windshield, chrome, pipes, Stage 1, etc.) and paid $13,200 from a metric dealer who took it on trade toward a new bike. At an HD dealer it would have gone for at least $1500 more.
