Default 07 Fatboy stock riser question

Hey all,

Anyone know if the stock risers on an 07 fatboy are 1" in diameter, or 1.25" like the rest of the bars. I just bought a set of 14" apes, that are 1" where it would bolt to the risers. I just want to know if I have to find a new set of risers. or if the stock ones will work. I looked at the stock ones, and it doesn't look like the bars step down for the risers. If they won't work, anyone have any recommendations for replacements? I already bought cables, so any new risers would have to be same height as stock.
Thank you for any info.

Brad

Default RE: 07 Fatboy stock riser question

The '07 Fatty does NOT go down to one inch. It's 1.25 at the clamp.

When I bought my Wild One 550's Beach bars; the bars went down to 1 inch. So I had to buy; which they supplied, a small clamp adapter that was 0.25 to make up for the shortfall.

Not sure what to do in your case, you may want to ask the bar suppliers if they have an adapter for a 1.25 riser clamp. Wild One did in my case.

Good luck, that'll look nice.
