Storage mix gas helps EFI??
Hi, Have an '07 FXSTC. Storing for winter, too much ice here. On all my former bikes, and chain saws, mowers, etc with carbs, always helped to run thetreated (for storage) gas through the carb for a few mints before shuttin it down for storage. I don't know much about EFI, does running it thru a few minutes do any good?? I realize won't harm it, just wondering if it's a step to do.....forgot to do it this time, stored it away but will do it if advisable... not mentioned in the manual. Thanks and Happy NY

RE: Storage mix gas helps EFI??
I ran mine around the block after filling tank and adding stabilizer. That way it's all through the system. If you have a full tank that's treated I doubt the small remaining area of the pump and injectors will cause problems. The surface of the fuel exposed to air tends to go degrade first.
