Default Milwaukee Iron Rear Fender...HELP

I not only feel a bit dumb, yet also am a bit lost. I bought a Milwaukee Iron - Cow Catcher rear fender. It is self supportive and has no need for the strut arms, yet do I cut off the fender support arms of the frame?
Did now completely do my homework I guess!!!

Default RE: Milwaukee Iron Rear Fender...HELP

If you are talking about the rear fender struts on a softail, then all you need to do to remove them is unbolt them from the frame undernieth where your seat is. There should be 2 torx head bolts (stock ones) or allen head (if you have chorme bolts) just under the seat area on the outside of the frame between the oil tank and the seat. Just unbolt those two bolts and the whole strut will come right off and you wont need to cut anything. See picture below.
