Hey guys I need some advise, should I buy the Samson dual fishtails or the V & H big shots long. I own a 07 deluxe I like them both butI need somefeedback from fellow members who own these pipes.

I like how the V&H duals with fishtails look better than the Samson's, but, I suppose that's a matter of personal preference. Most of the comments I have heard lean toward the V&H pipes being of higher quality than the Samsons also. YMMV

Fit and finish of the V&H is excellent. Quiet baffles will give you a deeper sound than the stock baffles.

 

Had Samson Big Gun Shorties on my '04 Sportster and V&H Big Shot Longs on my '08 Deluxe. I had no problems with the Samsons, but I love the V&H. I agree that the fit and finish on the V&H product is excellent. Good luck with your decision !!!

 

vance and hines true duels with fishtails. i also heard about the sampson pipes cracking at the welds. I truley belive that vance and hines makes a better product. You see a lot of the sampson fishtails duels around because they were around for a couple of years before vance and hines came out with there's I would bet there sales have gone down considerly after the vance and hines true duels came out
