07' Fatboy rear fender bib

07' Fatboy rear fender bib
I have searched for about 6 months for a rear fender bib which would look good on my bike and had little success. Found several in the aftermarket catalogs but none looked right; waited on the Hog Deluxe guy to come out with one but even the Motor Company beat him to it... and that was the final straw. When the bike maker can't even make one for their own bike which looks right, I went elsewhere.
There is a local biker leather guy in our town. He's an ex-marine and proud of it and started his shop about a year ago when a bike accident had him out of work for a while and unable to do what he'd done before. I showed him what I wanted and he took some pics and made drawings and a couple weeks later had my new bib ready.
It is made with an top and bottom cover of grained leather very similar to the Fatboy style, with a thick piece sandwiched in-between. He matched the spanish lacing and added the small chrome buttons.
There is a row of stitching you'll see in the pic near the seat studs. I originally had him make a small leather cover for them but after seeing other bibs, and realizing I didn't like it, I removed it; thus the stitching. My plan is to add some chrome acorn nuts for the seat hold downs and maybe a small chrome button stud for the back.
Can't remember the guy's name and can't find his card. Here's his info...

Nice lookin' bib. I like the 3 studs.
A bud of mine made this months ago when I got fed up of looking for a bib.
It's a lot thinner though, but I have these chromed eagles which look pretty good.
I only got it so that I could throw a bird on the back without her messin' up the paint.
I also carry a small helmet in the swing arm bag, for that purpose.
