Default 2008 105th Anniv. Softail Deluxe

I never considered the 105th Deluxe until my dealer mentioned the 1.05% financing. Suddenly the "Duracell Special" just got better looking! So besides a few badges and limited edition hype, are you getting anything xtra with this bike for the extra $$$? Has anybody bought one of these?

No, I dont think you get anything extra in that price. However, It is hard to go wrong with the 1% deal. That is the lowest finance rate I have ever seen on any HD bike since I have been riding. I talked to the sales manager at the dealer here. They are overloaded with the 105th bikes. They have 1-2 of all models. I think these bikes have been a bust for HD sales. I think they had a good idea with the copper color, but have produced WAY to many of these. The whole annver. thing is over done. From the 35 year dyna, 50th sportster, 95th, 100th and now 105th. They need to find a new gimic for to sell bikes.

I bought a 105th Fatboy a month ago... I got this bike because I think the color is awesome.. but 2 to each dealer for each model is a bit much and will hurt the value in the long run, especially if they still have some in the fall when the 09's come out..

just starting to get accessories added, I will post V&H Black Big Radius pics when I get them on.

I like the new color, but like previously said, way too many of them available.

Have to say I do not like the anniversary color on the Deluxe. Aside from the special color, tank emblem and 2-toned seat I don't think that there is anything special about the bike.

+1, but hey, if you'll be happy with it, forget what everyone says.

I have the anniversary Fatboy because it was love at first sight. I can't speak to whether HD flooded the market this year with anniversary models, but I think HD does benefit from selling anniversary bikes. If it wasn't profitable for them they wouldn't be doing it.

Offering a 1% finance option for105th anniversary modelsis an awesome move, and I'll bet their remaining stock willgo fast.

tgbroom- I look forward to seeing pics of your bike! What sequence number do you have? Mine is #222 of 4000.

I bought a 105th ann Deluxe and love the bike. Funny thing is, when I told the dealer I was switching my 105th to a silver and black color just before signing the papers, I got the ann model for $1500 cheaper than a standard Deluxe - awesome deal for me and a thumbs up from all riders. I've added Vance & Hines Longshots, the passenger backrest and passenger floorboards, windshield, mustach bars and saddlebags. The only problem I'm having now is finding 105th ann accessories. I wanted the tank pouch, can't find one. I have #212 out of 2500 built, and get compliments everywhere I go.
