Hello
Here is my question . I just installed a set of Cycle Shack MHD235SS Slip-on pipes on my bike. Has anyone done this and had to have the bike remapped ? Or can I just get on the bike when the snow melts and ride.

I JUST PUT SLIPONS ON MY 07, DEALER TOLDME IT WOULDNT HURT ANYTHING TO RIDE THAT WAY. HE DID SUGGEST AIR CLEANER AND DOWNLOAD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I RODE VERY LITTLE AND BIKE SEEMED FINE,BUT I WENT AHEAD AND DID THE REST ANY WAY. IT REALLY RUNS STRONG NOW.

 

You can get on it and ride.... no remap necessary.

 

I put a set of slip-ons on my 07 Springer and a air cleaner and had them do a map for the screamin eagle slip-ons. I am thinking about doing a Vance & Hines Fuel Pack to put it more in my hands. Dealer said it would be better with the SE map, but not really sure. For the a little more than the cost of the map from Harley, you could go another direction (ie-VH Fuel Pack, Power Commander...)
