I asked in another thread, but anyone know which is the better cam.Had carb jetted with k&n, 2-1 vance&hines.Want to get the most out 88 without going bigger.They say these cams are bolt in so I take it that i dont need no head work done.One mech told me he reconmends se203.chain drive.I have heard nothing good about chain driven cams.you have to replace every 20,000.Comparing the gear drive to chain drive, its hard to believe anyone would put a chain driven cam back in there bike.I know the mechs like it so they will see you again but anyway.He also told me 600 for labor.another told me 350.I have been studying this procedure and believe i can do it.I cant do a heart transplant but jees, 600.probably worth it.I said though i will never take bike to anyone when I can do it myself.They make to much dang money.All comments welcome and thanks.Save the bigger ci's for the next bike.

 

Go with the 204. The intake closed 4* earlier, which will be good with the 88's compression.
