Default Need to make sure these controls will fit.

I hope someone can help me here with this. It has already been discussed in previous threads that the forward controls from a 2007 Night Train and Standard will bolt up to a 2007 Fatboy with no problem. I found these billetforward controls from American Classic Motors that say they will fit 2000 to 2008 softails. That would mean theywould work on a 2007 Train....so they should work on my 2007 Fatboy right? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84324&rd=1I just want to get some opinions from others before I buy them since American Classic Motors will not take returns for incorrect fitment. For some reason I thought the controls changed on the 2007 models from the previous years. I asked American if they would fit a 2007 night train and they said "yes", but when I asked if they would fit a 2007 Fatboy they said "No".

Thanks for the help,

They should fit, if you take off the floor boards. I sure would hate to loose those just to stick my feet your front.

Call American Classic motors & speak to Dave @ Ext 117 - 610-754-8500

He knows his stuff & I would go by what he says.

I know the forwards brackets from an '06 to an '07 are different. The '07's are wider, probably due to the change to the 96b motor, and '06 and down forwards won't work. I was trying to find chrome forwards for my 07 FXST and there was notany available, except maybe from Accutronix, for my year model. I eventually found a killer deal on some HD chrome forwardsbrackets and went that route.Even Arlen Ness 3" extensions are differentfor the '06's and '07's.
