Performance ignition??
My wrench, who recently installed S&S 510 gear drive cams has talked me into putting in Sreaming Eagle ignition. I am not sure I understand the benefits from this although I'm sure there are some. What exactly does it do and what will be the benefits to me?

RE: Performance ignition??
Its harder toget a good hot spark under higher compression or higher manifold pressures (higher throttle settings). Putting on a "hotter" ignition coil will help to make sure you get a good hot spark under even the worst conditions.
If you never intend to really use the engine to its full capacity, and maintain the plugs in good condition. I doubt its going to matter a hell of a lot.
This is another way that a hotter coil can help as it willgive you a decent spark even if the plugs are not in the greatest condition.
