I attempted the oil scavengingdeal today, and I couldn't get the oil return out of my 03 heritage with the Lisle tool as stated in the total oil change in the "DIY" section of the forum...
Does this tool work with the 03's or am I doing something wrong?

 

You must me doing something wrong. Mine is an 06, but I have a cousin with an 03Softail and had no problem. Make sure the tool is the correct size and you will have to "work it" to get it out, especially the first time.Be patient and it will eventually come out. Good luck
