Default Kuryakyn LED issue

Installed Kury tailight and turn signals last night- conversion type and everything works except the brake lights. Any wiring experts out there that can give me some idea as to where to go next? I did not buy them new. Jack

I'm not a wiring expert, but, if possible, I would plug in your taillight that you removed to see if that works with your signal lights. Then you can see if it is your new taillight that is bad. Its just one option, but I'm guessing that there are quite a few people here will be able to help you out. Good luck.

Hmmm, i put the Kuryakyn led signal conversion on mine, but went with an HD led taillight. No problems here, Id also remove your led taillight and see if works. Might be able to find the source of your problem thatn way.

I put the stock tail light back on and the LED turn signals work fine. As I said the LED tail light works but not the brake light. I did not install the load EQ because tech support told me that if the turn signals worked correctly I didn't need to install. Did you install the load EQ with your setup? I might go back and try. I didn't want to put any additional wiring on the bike than necessary. Also, according the instructions it was just plug and shine!! Jack

Does the stock tail light & brake light work when the LED turn signals are installed?
