Well once again this place has helped me find a great part. Saw the thread on these AC's and loved it, the first one I saw that I "had" to have. Luckily Trotter had posted in that thread that he had this for sale at a price that I couldn't pass up. Thanks again bro! He's a great, standup guy to deal with.

I'm going to have my tune checked on the dyno as soon as I pull it out this spring just to be safe. Replaced the SE AC and football with this beauty. So here it is:

The lines fit right in with the jug fins. Holy Crap, that is a real work of art! Nice addition.

 

I've one concern about this type of 'open' air cleaner. What happens when a stone hits the filter? I've had them hit my knees, no so comfortable at that, so I can just imagine what a stone would do to a filter, then maybe engine.

Thanks alot guys! I was hoping it would look as good on my ride as it did in the few pictures I saw of it and man let me tell you it really does look like it belongs on there. Really glad I jumped on this one from Trotter over the all chrome one they make. I love me some chrome but I like contrast too.

 

I am definately a fan of black/chrome contrast.
