Default scratches on fatboy rim

Can scratches on an 07 fatboy's rim be removed? I must of scrathed them whem removing rear tire.

I'm in the same boat, scratched it with the brake caliper taking off the rear wheel. Pain the butt also.

Me too. IF you want to sand it down and polsih the caluminum it can be. I just forgot about it...

Yea, i think if you took a fine grit sand paper and went the direction of the machining "cuts" in the metal, it should look ok. I had a set of wheels on a camaro that had the lips machined like our fatboy wheels. They had some scratches on them and the sand paper did the trick. Might be worth a try.

Small scratches are strange & sometimes appear out of no where. I did some polishing last Sunday and noticed some new ones. I am in the camp of just leaving them alone. They will drive you nuts otherwise.
