Does anyone know if the stock seat on a 2001 or 2002 Heritage Softail Classic would fit on a 2006 Heritage Softail (not the Classic, just the FLST)? Also, can you buy a new factory seat for an older year? I'm sure at some point, HD quits making replacement parts for a given year model, just don't know how long.

The reason is, the seats on the 2001 - 2002 (to me)seem much more comfortable than the later year stock seats.
