Will the Cross Bones pics go in the Springer thread or get their own thread?

Don't flame me. I'm just asking what everyone is thinking.

 

I was wondering that too. I was also wondering why the hell they named it a cross bones and not a springer! I think it's a stupid name for a bike.

 

I don't think "Cross Bones" sounds any worse than "Bad Boy". And I think the Bad Boy was the best lookin' Harley ever made.

 

because of marketing... the name "springer" has been around for ever. the name "crossbones" is something new. sales generation $$$...

 

 

Rear suspension is what......softail? You decide.

 

I do not love the name but would like to see the bike.

 

I agree it's a Springer.

...but with all the big movies with "Piatres of the Carribian" (Johnny Dep) and all,
and all the "Skulls" themes being so popular,
they came out with a new name.
MARKETING !!!!!! people, it's marketing.

It's a "Springer Bobber", but that's not as romantic as a "Johnny Dep Cross Bones Pirate Themed Bike".
Don't get me wrong I like the bike, of course I'd change a few things.
