Default 2007 & 2008 Fatboy Seats - Leather or synthetic?

1) Are all the panels in a 2007/2008 Fatboy stock seat genuine leather or synthetic?

Thinking of changing my 2007 FXSTC seat to a 2007 Fatboy seat. Comments on comfort of the Fatty seat or what other options I should consider.

interestingly, I've swapped my Fat Boy seat for one from a SoftTail Standard.

I do believe it is real leather, and I use leather conditioner on it and it seems to work out just fine. The stock seat on my 98 was definitely real leather as the wear has shown it.

Just my opinion of course, but that FXSTC seat is super comfy. Why would you want to swap it?

I had the same question but never asked.
IMO the main part of the seat is syn. It looks too thin to be real hide of any kind to me.
The side panels or what ever are real leather IMO.
That's my .02 take it ot leave it.

The main sitting area is vinyl and the skirt around the back is 3-4 oz leather.
