So I thought I would change out my seat that would sit me back a little. I had the stock shaved down, but I think I would be more comfortable on something that sat back a little further. I looked at all different brands and many pictures on this site and decided on either a C&C Solo or a Bare Bones. I e-mailed Chuck at C&C and he told me that they would have to do R&D and it should be 60-90 days before they can put one out. La Pera told me that they are working on the 08 models and didn’t reply back to me when I asked them how long.

How long has the 2008 models been out? It’s now Feb of 2008 and after market makers still hasn’t done anything? What a load of crap.

So now I will wait, and before someone tells me to put an 07 seat on…2008’s don’t have the frame holes that the 07’s had.

Just saw this and if you are still looking for a seat call Mustang. They now have solo seats available for the 2008 Deluxe. You could also do what a lot of us have done and go with a Heritage Springer seat.

 

I was on the same boat as you bro.... luckly I live about 1 hr from Corbin, they have a Saturday "ride in" thing.... so I did and they made me a custom seat on the spot for my 08 Deluxe. I went with a 2 up but looks cool and I now seat about 3" back if not more, I will post a picture later if you want
